The relics of twin siblings St. Scholastica and St. Benedict are highly venerated in Catholic tradition. While both were originally buried at Monte Cassino in Italy, 7th-century historical accounts suggest their remains were moved to Fleury Abbey in France. Many individual churches and shrines also house localized, authenticated relics
