Saint Stephen Protomartyr relic and document

Saint Stephen, also known as the Protomartyr, was the first Christian martyr. He was a deacon in the early church at Jerusalem and is traditionally venerated as the first Christian to be martyred for his faith. Stephen's death by stoning is described in the Acts of the Apostles. 

Document was clearly bigger so trimmed but dryseal and signatures present

The Garabandal apparitions refer to reported sightings of the Virgin Mary and Saint Michael the Archangel by four young girls in the small Spanish village of Garabandal between 1961 and 1965. The girls, Conchita, Jacinta, Mari Loli, and Mari Cruz,   have received messages from the Virgin Mary about the need for repentance, conversion, and prayer, as well as Saint Michael the archangel

This is an interesting relic , it has a medal with a tiny piece of the prayer book kissed by the virgin mary, a pine from the tree near the apparitions, and a small relic cross which contains a piece from the rosary touched by saint michael

The rosary with relic cross turns up very rarely and is a hard to find item, but we recently acquired one so take your chance, it may take a while before we have a new one

but there is some wear to the document, there is a tear which has been repaired, but other parts also have some damages, has been trimmed but no pieces of importance missing

Nicholas of Flüe (German: Niklaus von Flüe; 1417 – 21 March 1487) was a Swiss hermit and ascetic who is the patron saint of Switzerland.[1] He is sometimes invoked as Brother Klaus. A farmer, military leader, member of the assembly, councillor, judge and mystic, he was respected as a man of complete moral integrity. He is known for having fasted for over twenty years. Brother Klaus's counsel to the Diet of Stans (1481) helped prevent war between the Swiss cantons.

and to stay in the spirit of coming easter beautifull nail of christ, a wrought iron nail and its authentic document written in Latin and issued on 1865, Episcopal stamp of the San Croce in Gerusalemme church in Rome present on the nail.

The Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem (Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme) is a Roman Catholic basilica and titular church in Rome, Italy, considered one of the seven pilgrimage churches of Rome. According to Christian tradition, the basilica was consecrated around 325 to house the relics of the Passion of Jesus Christ brought to Rome from the Holy Land by Empress Helena. Several famous relics are preserved in the Cappella delle Reliquie of the basilica, including a significant part of the Titulus Crucis, two holy thorns from the crown of thorns, a frangment (the tip) of the holy nail, the index finger of Saint Thomas and three relics from the wood of the cross. The relic of the nail was based on the original one when this nail was cast, according to our information,shavings of the original nail where added to the molten metal

Given by the Monastery of the Holy Cross of Jerusalem in Rome to the Churches and Personal Chapels in France. According to the information that we found shavings of the original nails were added to the melting put before the nails were made

The nail we have on sale was clearly pinned on somewhere, the two more or less intact corners have a pinhole, some wear right above the first printed piece of text,otherwise some staining but overal great condition

 Nice item overal condition very good to fine

seals are intact and matching the dry seal

some wear to the paper , scholastica was affected by the fold of the paper as you can see and some minor staining, but not that bad

this is a very big lady, despite the fact that she hasn't been declared a saint yet, hopefully in the near future, she was the co-founder of the carmelite orders in  europe and a compan to saint therese of avilla

what makes this relic cool is tht it has three relics a bone relic, a serious bundle of hair, more than i ever saw in a relic, and a piece of cloth that was used on her, to wipe of sweat (at least that's what it translate to more or less)

The fountain came from a freshwater spring some 300 feet up the hill. Sections of a water channel between the spring and the fountain are still visible.

Maria Domenica Mazzarello, FMA (9 May 1837 – 14 May 1881) was an Italian Catholic nun who co-founded the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco.

She was born in Mornese, in what is now the province of Alessandria, northern Italy, to a peasant family who worked in a vineyard. She was the eldest of ten children of Joseph and Maddalena Calcagno Mazzarelli. When she was fifteen she had joined the Association of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate, known for her charitable works, and run by the parish priest, Domenico Pestarino; it was a precursor to the founding of the Salesian Sisters.[1]
